  The ideal, however, is to be able to get something out of this site no matter what browser you are using, including, believe it or not, Lynx. I will be adding in some Javascript in the near future, as soon as I have a reasonable idea that such scripting does not need to make errant browsers crash and burn upon visitation.

Site Graphics created with:

• PaintShop Pro 5.0 -- almost everything graphical gets itself plugged through here.
• GIF Construction Set -- primarily the titles for various book lists; and also that animation on the Flambé page. By the way, they're Pagan owned and operated, and that's an extremely old version of the program which I was using.
• Amfyteam -- They've got some good shareware graphical Java^TM applets which I'm slowly attempting to introduce to this site. (My theory on this whole Java thing is that I want to leave those folks who don't use Java the ability to see something in the stead of the Java graphic... if you think you are missing out on at least something graphical in its stead, write me!)

• Canon EOS Rebel G camera
• Kodak Retina II camera for the older stuff -- the camera is now about 60 years old, but still works fine.

• UMAX Astra 1200 S scanner, when I finally got tired of paying the local photo developing shop for this service.

Site FTP'd with:

• WS_FTP Pro -- a shareware program essential for this kind of thing. Oh, there are other ways around it, but this is so versatile and easy to use!

Site named for:

• Pour Down Like Silver is the title of an album by Richard and Linda Thompson. I liked the evocativeness of this name, and indeed, I'd previously incarnated it as the title of an ongoing (at that time) zine of mine which ran in an APA (Amateur Press Association) for a few years prior to my migration to the Web. The name in itself has no Pagan significance, except perhaps what I've been reading into it after the fact.

  Oh, yes, June Tabor and the Oyster Band also cover this song.
